Valerie Waters is a well known Hollywood fitness trainer, who is called upon to train people such as actress Jennifer Gardner. She specializes in training specifically women who want to build curves in all the right places. Today she gets together with Men’s Health Book Author Chad Waterbury to discuss the Body of Fire Program.
While this new fitness program has been branded as a workout tough enough for MMA fighters such as champion Ralek Gracie, Valerie Waters is confident that it is a challenge many women will enjoy.
The conversation culminates and the fitness couple discuss that burning calories comes down to using challenging exercise routines that will ramp up a person’s metabolic reate, along with a good eating habits. They say why traditional exercise such as jogging does not have as much impact (due to its low intensity nature, it doesn’t stimulate your metabolism as much), and how most women are not aware of this fact. More often than not, low intensity workouts are sought after by many women trying to lose weight.
Chad Waterbury, also a top fitness trainer in LA himself, says the Body of F.I.R.E. program can be adapted to women, challenge them, and increase their athleticism at the same time.
Chad also shares his #1 diet tip that is so obvious people often over look it: don’t laugh:
Eat MORE vegetables. He goes on to explain how this simple act brings the benefits of not counting calories (because you can eat all you want of this low calorie food type), more nutrients, increased fiber ( the most underappreciated nutrient which in itself has various benefits such as helping you control your hunger), and helps your metabolism & digestion.
In this video, Chad and Valerie try to demonstrate a workout, but clearly they save up their energy for their workouts at home. It looks more like a little game they’re playing in the playground!
